The Process
How it all works and what you can expect if you're interested in an editorial service.

1 - Contact
To get started, contact me with the details of your manuscript and the service you're interested in.
2 - Sample
Submit a sample of your work. Around 2-3 chapters (required for Developmental Edits and Mini Edits only).
3 - About
As part of initial discussions, I may ask you to complete an author questionnaire. This allows me to identify your publishing goals, manuscript needs and if we're a good creative fit.

4 - Quote
I’ll send you a quote detailing the project cost, commencement date and timeframe for completion.

You'll also have a sample edit returned to you from the chapters provided depending on the service requested.

All quotes come with no obligation to proceed.

5 - Onboarding
If you decide you'd like to work with me, I'll send you a contract to sign and get you booked in!
6 - Analysis
Work begins on your manuscript based on the mutually agreed start date.
7 - Feedback
You receive your completed Evaluation or Developmental Editing package.
8 - Consultation
Once you've had the chance to absorb the feedback, we'll have a final email consultation to go over anything you would like further clarification on, or to address any questions you may have.
9 - Resources
During the post-edit consultation, I'll point you in the direction of any resources that may be helpful to your particular manuscript.

* Please note that all quotes given are obligation-free with no pressure to proceed after an enquiry.
